Dawn moments

January 09, 2016 in Articles
a pine cone falls
before dawn
without a sound

There are beautiful moments to be enjoyed at dawn, here in the forest.

Today, just before the sun broke out in a blast of light across the trees, I took a brief, silent walk. Alone, there was only the smell of last nights rain on the pine and eucalyptus, the warmth of the rising sun.

Walking, I stopped, and stood by this tiny young cork oak, with few leaves, watching the light break through it.

Find life in the moments, not your dreams, not your plans, not in adventures. Find adventure in even the quietest and smallest of moments.

You don't need to create them, simply to notice them.
