I am home.

"I have arrived, I am home."

– Thich Nhat Hanh (calligraphy).

I have arrived, I am home. Nomad that I am, this is how I feel, I am home every day. Wherever I am.

If we can find home in whatever circumstances we find ourselves, we are better set to greet the world. Home engenders a feeling of warmth, comfort, confidence, stability.

I own no home. I rent no home. I travel the world, studying the spiritual path, a guest, taking care of the homes of others. In the past five years, I have learnt much about what makes a 'home', and what does not.

I create home in my heart, wherever my feet fall.

Taking a step further, in 2012 I am giving up other people's homes too. My life has become a spiritual pilgrimage, as I travel, studying with my teachers, meeting new ones. I will study in and contribute to Buddhist centres, yoga studios, ashrams and other centres of spiritual study. I will walk pilgrimages to Santiago and the 88 temples of Kyoto. In every step, I will find home.

As I travel, I continue to write, and pour this knowledge into Sanctuaries, building a place of retreat for myself, my partner, and for guests who will come and study yoga and meditation with us at Sanctuaries.
