The Snows: Winter Retreat
The Snows: Winter Retreat
The Snows.
“I have completed the first session of The Snows retreat. It was wonderful. It was the right thing to do given my rollercoaster ride of emotions. I’m listening and finding the source when my mind floods with thoughts that don’t serve me.”
— A recent participant of The Snows retreat.
In this time of cold, dark days, it’s a good time to consider giving yourself the gift of retreat. The Snows winter retreat is a self-paced online retreat in four parts, that you can offer yourself over four weeks, or a four day intensive retreat weekend.
Those currently sitting the retreat include Zen practitioners, Zen teachers, and those with a wish to deepen their inner silence at this time of hibernation and rest.
The Snows is an online retreat series, for those seeking to make space for Zen contemplative practice in their lives.
A poetic-hearted retreat series, with inspiration drawn from the Zen and Ch'an contemplative practices of silent sitting, kōan practice, poetry contemplation, and tea meditation.
Inspired by the Buddhist tradition of the winter snows retreat, I’m offering The Snows, a series of four online retreat sessions, in three parts each. The sessions are recorded in words and audio, so you can join at a time (and day) that suits you.
Sessions include guided meditations, readings, commentaries and personal contemplative time.
You do not have to be able to join live, but will be able to access the content at a time and date of your own choice, to suit your own schedule. Audio recordings will also be available to download for offline listening.
Content includes audio, image and text.
I am happy to be able to invite you to share in my own path of practice with you through this retreat series, I hope you will be able to join me.
