As I hold the fragile, weak hand of my Mother in her hospital bed, and kiss her barely present cheek, I do not weep. My heart sings for the joy of life.
Last night, I came across the words of Seido Ray Ronci below, that sum it up, and feel blessed to know why I am here.
I am here for no reason at all. But simply to live.
I am life.
Live, my friend, for you are life.
Another Reason to Live.
To hold the hand, to kiss the forehead,
to wipe the face, to clean the soiled
sheets of the dying.
