Where I practice.

Here at this winter's hermitage, my practice remains deeply and firmly rooted in the way of Zen. I named this place ‘The Monastery’ before I even arrived here. It couldn't have been more accurate. There is a deep silence here, not just the outer one.

I sink into it, sit zazen, chant, study and contemplate the Heart Sutra. Always returning to pure awareness.

All feels so natural here…
