How can we combine meditation with work?
A subject I touched upon in an earlier post on the nature of practice.
When our whole life becomes a meditation, when every in breath, every out breath, and the space between them becomes a meditation, how can our work not be a meditation?
“In Tibet, some among those who attained great transmigration in rainbow body mainly worked during their lives, as for instance cutting “OM MANI PEME HUNG” in stones.
The Vajrayana holds instructions on how to combine work with meditation.
Someone who really understands these deep instructions will manage to meditate while working and carrying out everyday activities.
This is a sign that practice is profound…
One will benefit the truth, benefit sentient beings, and benefit oneself.”
