Shrines

September 14, 2016 in Notebook

Shrines /

At home, or even in the workplace. A shrine can be an alcove with a precious statue from a foreign land, a tiny golden Buddha, or as simple as a candle, a pebble or a single flower.

A shrine can be described as a holy or sacred space, a special place to focus our attention.

But it is also a place to quieten down and let go into stateless stillness, a place to reflect on who we are, or perhaps just to stop and simply be.
