Haiku music feature

NH118: The author of the week is Kashyapi.

“This week we present a haiku poem written by Kashyapi, a Zen woman who spent many years living as a lay forest monk, in deep retreat from the world; her poems are about silence, the research of inner peace, human relationship with nature. Kashyapi’s works show that a journey of self-discovery can be described with just a few words at a time: and the result can be beautiful and intimate poetry.”

Each week, Naviar Records run a weekly challenge to write a piece of music inspired by a haiku. This week, they contacted me and asked to use one of mine, they chose this one:

as mountains
wrapped in rain
