Who have you invited to dance today?

"One thing that life has taught me in recent years is to grasp the moment, because the moment really is all you ever have. If I meet someone today, there is no guarantee that they will be there tomorrow, or that we will get the opportunity to make a connection. So if the opportunity arises, I go for making the connection.

If the opportunity doesn't arise, I do my best to create it. Sure, it takes two to tango, but someone has to hold out their hand and invite us to join the dance. If we were all to remain wallflowers, there would be no dancing to watch, much less, to participate in."

Another extract from Zen Road Trip.

Have you invited someone to dance today? Who? Was it worth it? More importantly, how many people have you passed by, and wondered about, wondered who they are, who they love, how they live, could they be your friend?

I view travel as the opportunity to find the friends I haven't met yet. As a result of embracing the dance of life, and inviting others to join, I have many friends, worldwide, and an open mind and heart. Will you join me in the dance?
