Meditation : the basics

  1. This is your foundation, build a strong life on it.
  2. Begin gently, but with a regular practice.
  3. 5 minutes daily is better than 1 hour a week.
  4. Be kind to yourself. Practice, and all will come.
  5. Make it the first thing you do each day.
  6. Find, or create, a quiet place to practice.
  7. Use a timer or alarm so you needn’t clock-watch.
  8. Breathe, breathe, breathe.
  9. Relax, it’s only meditation!
  10. Enjoy your practice. If not, you’re doing it wrong.
