This evening, we're heading out on a night hike, night walking in the Tramuntana mountains. Setting out around 19:30 we will visit the cave hermitage of 13th Century Mallorcan, Ramon Lull, where he reputedly achieved enlightenment, whilst meditating.
“Ramon Llull, at thirty retires to the Puig the Randa, where he lives as a hermit in a cave. There he dedicates himself to meditation and the illumination occurs.”
We will sleep out under the full moon, and the stars, and plan to meditate a night sitting out there, near to Ramon Llull's hermitage cave. We will visit a nearby Santuari / Monastery the following morning.
