Another hermitage.

Santuari del Puig de Maria, Pollenca, Mallorca / Photos : Ando

The Puig de Maria was the hermitage of the first female hermits here in Mallorca, back in 1363. It's at the top of a large hill / small mountain, at the edge of the town of Pollenca. I spent two separate days up there recently, in meditation and silent contemplation. Puig de Maria has a beautiful atmosphere, and a sense of breathing space I have found rarely, even in other Santuaris here in Mallorca.
