Sangha

The furnace of Sangha.

"A group behaves just like a coal fire.A burning ember that is not fanned goes out all by itself. A big pile of embers becomes a blazing furnace.” — Zen Master Sawaki Kodo

This is the power of Sangha.

If you don’t have Sangha, find them. You need them more than you can ever imagine. No matter whether you are Zen, or another Buddhist path, or the pathless path of Advaita, find them. Out there, in your home town, or online, you will find them.

Together, we fan the flames and help each other blaze. Alone, we smoulder.

Why try to go it alone, when we have the joyful furnace of Sangha?
