Boketto.

Boketto (Japanese) :
The act of gazing vacantly into the distance, without thinking.

There is no equivalent word for it in the English language. Boketto is to stare at the sky or the horizon, without a thought.

You can do it in the mountains, at the beach, or even looking out of your window across the city. Just defocus, and let yourself go completely, into the space that opens up.

It’s an act that needs no description, because actually, it can only be experienced. Try it, practice it every day.

Go ahead… lose yourself.
