Be alone with yourself. It's not necessarily easy, but it is rewarding.
Create space for yourself. Clear a time and a place to just sit, observing the arising and passing of your thoughts. By simply allowing them to come and go, you'll come to realise that there are your thoughts, and there is you. If not, how could you observe them and listen to them like this?
We tend to listen to our constantly chattering thoughts a little too much. By training yourself to notice your thoughts, you can learn to pay less attention to them.
You can start with just 10 minutes at first. But you can easily work up to 1 hour over time, just by adding a minute each day. Make a regular time for it.
The longer we sit, the more used to silence our mind becomes. This spills over into our daily lives.
Are you ready to meet yourself?
I imagine you could use the peace.
