“Enlightenment is like the moon reflected on the water. The moon does not get wet, nor is the water broken. Although its light is wide and great, the moon is reflected even in a puddle an inch wide. The whole moon and the entire sky are reflected in dewdrops on the grass, or even in one drop of water.”
We are, at once, both the moon and the water, whether it be an ocean, or a dewdrop. We can be found in the reflection too.
Such peace and space is found in this, nothing can remain untouched by this. When this place is discovered, to simply remain, is enough.
In fact, it is everything, and nothing. Just as the reflection is both the moon, and not the moon.
