nothing

Outside of this, there is nothing

“There is nothing outside of yourself that can ever enable you to get better, stronger, richer, quicker, or smarter. Everything is within. Everything exists. Seek nothing outside of yourself.”― Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings

Nothing.

Stop searching.

Look inside.

Look within and stop searching outside of yourself, and you will find your self, the self, your true nature.

Look outside, and the search resumes.

Don't doubt, the doubt will take you out of the truth of who you are. Doubt says “the answer isn't here, it must be outside, elsewhere, I need another teacher, another koan, another practice.”

The mind will go on…

In self-inquiry, you can look in this way, using the tool of the koan, “Who Am I?

The moment we ask this question, “Who Am I?” we turn the tables. Our attention points within, instead of outwards, and comes to rest at it's own source, the self.

Coming to rest at it's source, the search, and the seeker who began it, evaporates and disappears.
